"Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start."

Due to overwhelming public demand, My Favourite Things returns after a sold out season last year. Focusing on the events surrounding the writing of the world’s most beloved musical, The Sound of Music, this biographical show details the fascinating and deeply moving story of Rodgers and Hammerstein- the song writing duo who quite literally changed Broadway forever with their ground-breaking musicals.

Featuring the breath-taking music from the Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “big 5”, namely, Oklahoma, Carousel, The King and I, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music, as well as a wide array of classics from the Great American Songbook (Including “New York, New York”, “The Way You Look Tonight” and many many more)- this unique musical repurposes these timeless songs, intricately woven into a retelling of the devastating and true story behind these incredible creatives, their musicals and their enormous success.

From the creator of the sold-out, smash-hit Simply Broadway and The Man & The Mouse, this unique show takes you back to the birth of the Golden Age of the Broadway musical in all its splendour - and is sure to have you humming along with the classics you know and love!

“…Performed by multi-threats, this show is jaw-droppingly awesome, and spectacularly written and performed” (Hellenic Radio/ Renos Spanoudes). “…The show delivers a sucker punch plot twist, exquisitely performed…by far de Groot’s greatest work to date, and is quite near perfection.” (RSG Radio)

Journey back to the glamorous 1950s to find out why the hills are indeed alive with the sound of music, and how exactly they solved a problem like Maria!

Starring Brett de Groot, Kiruna-Lind Devar, Daniel Geddes, Alyssa Harrison and Justin Swartz, accompanied by an incredible band of musicians including David Cousins, Lindzi Wiggins, Cole Matthews and Stephen Haiden- this show is simply unmissable.
